The Orbits of Known KBOs

This plot shows the orbits of KBOs that have already been discovered. The Sun is represented by the green dot at the very centre of the plot. Three different kinds of KBOs are shown by three different colours: red orbits are those of Plutinos, blue orbits are those of Classical Kuiper Belt Objects, and black orbits are those of Scattered Kuiper Belt Objects. The orbits of Jupiter and Neptune are also shown in green for comparison.
