Alright, this contest's name isn't a very good acronym. But neither is CFHLS! It fails the first test of acronyms - it's completely unpronouncable. I'm convinced that with the combined wisdom of the entire optical astronomy community in Canada, we could come up with something better. So I propose a contest - come up with a better acronym, either for the survey as a whole or for just the Canadian aspect of it. Of course, there's no guarantee we'll actually change the name of the project to match your acronym. But we'll post all the entries here, choose a winner at some point and award a fabulous prize.
