Terapix and Obelix

Terapix is the data reduction centre that was set up to deal with the vast amounts of data that MegaCam will generate. Their logo shows Obelix - hero of the popular French comic books "Asterix and Obelix" - lugging the CFHT dome in place of his usual menhir. The characters in "Asterix and Obelix" always have names ending in "-ix", so Terapix seemed like a natural addition to their world...
