Re: skils recommendations

There is one point I want to make with respect to the selection of fields
for the CFHTLS: The Survey will share time with PI programs from UH, Canada,
France, Korea and Taiwan and the CFHT Board has stated the requirement that
the Survey must be conducted so that the quality time is shared equitably
with the other users.
 
The SNe and KBO science requirements already appear to impose fairly severe
time constraints on the observations. As additional constraints are imposed,
e.g., airmass restrictions, the ability of CFHT to meet all of the imposed
requirements on the observations will become impaired.
 
Therefore, in considering field selection, it would be desirable if weight
were given to patches that impose the fewest restrictions on scheduling.
