Technical Bulletin April, 2001: Filter
Hazard - 20 mm filter on 3/4" adapter
Note: Atomic
Four Engine Service recommends the engine oil filter mount seal contact area
outer diameter & inner diameter be measured and compared with the
replacement filter seal area, as well as verifying the replacement filter has
the same thread as the engine oil filter adapter. Smear some oil
on the filter seal, install the filter until the seal lightly touches the
contact area, then tighten 1/4 turn by hand.
