    This presentation of 3d rotations is based on the rigid-body chapter in Goldstein's "Classical Mechanics". I replaced ideas involving infinitesimal rotations with derivatives. There is some bumpy and exhausting math but I hope the reader gets a better understanding of tumbling objects. Possibly read Appendix K at the end for inspiration (or intimidation).

  • Intuitive Gyroscope Precession
    This is for physics educators at a high-school or first year university level. It describes my approach to developing students intuition of gyroscope precession.
    
    
  • Electrodynamics and Special Relativity
    This note is aimed at students with a high-school level understanding of special relativity. The message is that the relativistic effects on space and time are no more surprising than electromagnetism. I heard this somewhere but don't have a reference and don't know if it is true.
